Hybris
Hybris is the personification of the arrogant behavior of human being, which goes beyond any measure and does not recognize that other forces outside her/him, can determine the course of her/his life.
When human being exceeds her/his mortal limits and violates the Divine laws, she/he falls into Hybris.
When human being exceeds her/his mortal limits and violates the Divine laws, she/he falls into Hybris.
Practically, when a person, overestimating her/his abilities and power (mainly political, military and economic), behaves in a violent, arrogant and offensive way towards both her/his fellow human beings and the unwritten Divine law, then she/he commits Hybris and manifests behavior through which she/he attempts to transcend her/his mortal nature and assimilate to the Gods (Archetypal laws).
This behavior has as a consequence the insult and anger of the Gods, that is, the mobilization of the Archetypal laws in order to balance the Disharmony and therefore brings results, both in the earthly world and in the world of the Hereafter.
